Please do NOT attempt to register via email. Enrollment for this tutorial is managed through the LLP system. This tutorial awards 1.7 ECTS credits upon registration of your dissertation project with the Doctoral Office. IMPORTANT: As this course is part of the doctoral program, tutorial hours will not be credited towards MSM 2.0. If you wish to collect tutorial points instead, you may register for the same tutorial (same schedule) under the target group "Clerkship Eligibility." In (almost) every doctoral thesis, you will eventually need to work with statistics, and you may find yourself wishing you had paid more attention in the "Scientific Work" module. In this course, we will review the most important statistical concepts, as well as practice conducting and interpreting key statistical tests in SPSS. Additionally, time will be allocated to address specific questions related to your own projects. The course is divided into three parts. Each part builds on the previous one and lasts approximately 4 hours (excluding 15-minute breaks). |

| Vorkenntnisse | The course will be conducted in English. Without proficiency in the course language, we cannot award ECTS credits. This course is intended for those who already have a research topic (doctoral thesis or term paper) and are about to begin statistical analysis but possess only limited prior knowledge of statistics. You should have at least completed the module "Scientific Work I" (M7 or M8). |
